We all know that dogs , more than anything, love eating human food.

It doesn’t matter how much Pedigree Chum is still in their bowl, or how many treats you’ve given them that day, they will often stop at nothing to get a taste of that sweet, forbidden fruit. Well, if you didn’t know, next Wednesday (March 23) is national puppy day, and one London restaurant is offering a secret, canine-friendly menu for seven days starting Wednesday. Poke House, which serves a Californian-inspired take on the traditional Hawaiian dish, is offering free poke pup bowls to any customer who brings their dog in to dine with them

Created with a dog nutritionist each bowl will contain a base of quinoa, chicken, courgette, red cabbage, and nori seaweed – all ingredients that are designed to keep your pup healthy and happy.

Leading dog nutritionist and founder at The Dog Nutritionist, Cam Wimble, said: ’Dogs thrive from a balanced diet and what a lot of people don’t know is that vegetables can be very important to their dog’s general wellbeing.

‘We’ve created a protein-rich bowl with lots of delicious chicken and have even included quinoa as it contains all 10 essential amino acids for dogs. Protein and amino acids are the building blocks of life, they help keep your dog bouncy and mobile and their coat glossy and so this season.
