Are you the proud owner of a cockapoo?

Firstly, we are very envious – but more importantly, pop-up Pug Cafe is finally launching a cockapoo event, so that you can dine with your dog . To make the experience that much better, the space will be themed after Valentine’s Day , featuring a kiss-me-cam, love bench, kissing booth and lots of pink sugary snacks.

Your pup can sniff fellow cockapoo butts, while sipping on pawsecco and champaws, nibbling on the doggy dognut wall or sharing a heart biscuit and lollipop.

And each pooch will get a pupuccino on the house, too.

Humans are not left out; there will be love-themed cocktails and spritzes, cake and coffee.

The Cockapoo Cafe will take place at The Allegory in Shoreditch, London, running for two days including tomorrow (9 February) and 23 February.

Unfortunately, owners of other dog breeds will not be allowed to come along – though there is a french bulldog version running on the 9 February, too.

On the bright side, people who love cockapoos but don’t have a dog are most welcome to join the party.

Growing up. While the Chow Chow dogs are well known for their distinctive blue-black tongues, they’re actually born with pink tongues. They turn blue-black at 8-10 weeks of age.

Ticket prices vary, with concessions for children under 16 but to book a spot, you need to ahead of time, so don’t just rock up hoping to cuddle up to canines.

There are also various time slots to choose from, with each session lasting 80 minutes.

In other Valentine’s Day news, Fortnum & Mason has just announced a series of speed dating events dubbed Dining With Strangers, which include one for cheese-lovers and a separate event for vegans. Twenty singletons will head to The Royal Exchange in The City on Tuesday next week (11 February).
