
A UK police force want help naming puppies after NHS heroes sacrificing their lives on the coronavirus frontline.
West Midlands Police’s dogs division welcomed a new litter of German Shepherds last month, when the country was put on lockdown. The four girls and three boys were born at the dog training centre in Balsall Common and are now four weeks old.They are yet to be named, with officers asking members of the public for suggestions that show gratitude for NHS workers.

The force added that they were looking for names that ‘epitomise’ the NHS while making ‘great pup names’.
The best seven will be picked next week, a spokesperson said.
To get the ball rolling, officers put forward some of their own suggestions, including Nightingale and Heart.best dog food
