Moment police rescue puppies that had been buried alive
The puppies were found in the Bajo Aragon region of north eastern SpainThis is the moment Spanish police rescued six German shepherd puppies that were buried alive in a pit. The footage was shot last month after Spain’s Civil Guard received an anonymous tip-off that a litter had been buried near a farm in the Bajo Aragon region on 9 August. They also found two adult German shepherds nearby, with the mother showing signs she’d given birth recently.
Officers say the puppies were found in a weak state and were reunited with their mother immediately so they could breastfeed.
The pups are said to be recovering well.

A police spokesperson said two people were being investigated for committing a crime against domestic animals.
