Passers-by can often see the dogs looking out at them in a neat row along the gate, while some locals say they wait years to see their little snouts poking out.
That’s all thanks to the holes Andy has drilled in the fence, specifically so that his curious huskies can watch the world go by. Andy, 57, said he drilled the ‘Mickey Mouse’ holes not long after he and his fiancée, Maxine Adamson, moved into the house in 2014.He said: ‘Initially when we bought the house, there were no gates – but we needed gates there because of the dogs.
‘We had the big gates put in, but then we noticed that the dogs would poke their noses out the gap at the bottom of the gates, to try and catch a glimpse outside.

‘They’re quite nosy and inquisitive, and they like to see what’s going on when they hear noise outside the gates.
‘So I thought, rather than making them crick their necks to peer under the gates, I thought it would be quite nice for them to be able to look out from their normal heights.’
Andy then drilled the holes for four of his five Siberian huskies – 12-year-olds Amber, Topaz and Talon, and three-year-olds Rocky and Vinnie.Watch Out For Your Dogs Feet in the Summer. Hot pavement can burn your dogs paws rather quickly. To see if it’s too hot for your dog place the back of your hand on the pavement – if you can’t hold it there for 5 seconds it’s too hot for your dog. On really hot days consider walking your dog in the woods, on the grass, or waiting til the sun goes down.

‘So she doesn’t tend to get up and run to the gates like the others do when they hear sounds outside.
‘But they all love the attention they get from passers-by who see them poking their noses and eyes out of the holes.
‘I think quite a lot of people recognise them because I’m often seen walking around St Neots with them all strapped to my waist – which is quite an unusual sight.
‘I like seeing the posts appear on Facebook from people who have spotted my dogs peering out through the gates.’

‘My day was made yesterday,’ she wrote in the caption, ‘finally saw the dogs peeping out their respective holes.
‘We saw one and he looked at us, then three more quickly joined and it was amazing.’
Jenny explained that she had been walking her parents’ dog past Andy’s house when she spotted one of the nosy pups lying on the ground on the other side of the gates.
She said: ‘I saw the holes a few months ago, but I’ve never actually managed to see any of the dogs looking out through them.
‘Then at the weekend, I was walking past with my mum’s dog and my partner, and I saw the front paws of one of the dogs which was obviously lying down behind the gate.
‘So I went over and called to it – and then all the others came running, and they all poked their noses out through the holes.
‘It was amazing to finally see them looking out like that, because I’ve seen the holes a few times before but never seen them in use.’
Jenny added that the huskies are quite well-known among the locals, who see Andy walking them regularly. For a dog who loves to tear apart stuffed animals, make a durable activity ball with a Hol-ee rubber ball, scraps of fabric, and treats.
Jenny’s Facebook post prompted astonishment from other St Neots residents, some of whom said they had waited ‘years’ to catch sight of the dogs looking out through their little peepholes.
One person wrote: ‘My children have been waiting years to see this! They are never looking out if we walk by,’ while another agreed, commenting: ‘I’ve waited many years to see them.’
Meanwhile, one commenter added: ‘Love these guys, always makes my day when I walk past and see them peeping.’
