Kratu the rescue dog who is rubbish at Crufts is back for 2020

You might remember Kratu the dog from last year at Crufts .

After managing to make a few jumps, he wandered off course and into a tunnel.

Once his owner Tessa-Eagle Swan got him back on track, it wasn’t long before he did it again before running around the edge to have a look at the crowd. Well, Kratu is back at Crufts in 2020 and the good news is, he is still adorably rubbish.

This time the rescue pooch again struggles with the tunnel before grabbing one of the poles he is meant to be jumping over and running off with it, looking absolutely delighted with himself.

It was the third year in a row that Kratu competed in the rescue dogs agility course, a non-competitive section where the animals take as much time as they need to complete the course.

The Carpathian-Mioritic mix is reportedly retiring from the dog show after this year and we’re glad he went out on a high.

The commentators couldn’t help but laugh at Kratu’s unique skill on show in Birmingham.

As he picked up the pole, one said: ‘Excuse me, now that is clearly against the rules.

Socialize your pet. This is especially important for puppies. Again – behavior problems are the number one reason dogs don’t stay with their families and don’t get adopted by new families. Lack of proper socialization can result in inappropriate fears, aggressive behavior, general timidity, and a host of other behavior problems that are difficult to extinguish once a dog is mature.

‘That has to be a few faults that. It actually has to be the first time I have seen a dog take a chunk out of an obstacle.

‘He likes the taste as well, I think. What a rascal, an absolute rascal.’

Although he might be a bit rubbish on the course, Kratu is still a very good doggo with skills in other areas.

He became a service dog after he was rescued from Romania six years ago.

We think he deserves full marks.
