This is the heartwarming moment a woman was caught on CCTV giving a cold stray dog her scarf.
The woman, who was completely unaware her kind gesture was being immortalised on camera, can be seen stopping up and looking at the poor dog as she exits a cafe in Zonguldak, Turkey on a cold, rainy day.
She then starts walking but stops shortly after, before she dumps her umbrella on the pavement and pulls off her scarf.
She warms up the shivering animal, who can be seen curling up and looking at its new blanket for a brief moment before the woman walks away.

She told The Dodo : ‘I couldn’t imagine that my actions would receive this attention. I’m very surprised about it.
