Chihuahua lovers, get ready for your hearts to melt in a big way. These two adorable chis are looking for a home, after they bonded together at the Dogs Trust’s Snetterton centre, and have been inseparable ever since. Aslan and Missy are the smallest pair of dogs the rescue home have ever cared for, and have been dubbed a ‘tiny twosome’.
The two pups are three and six years old respectively, and have many of the classic chihuahua traits – including being huge personalities despite their little bodies.
Diane McLelland-Taylor, rehoming centre Manager at Dogs Trust Snetterton, said: ‘This pint-sized pair may be small but, what they lack in size, they make up for in personality.’ According to Diane, they’d best suit a house with no other dogs where there’s a secure garden for them to play.Missy and Aslan prefer a quieter home, and are motivated by treats and love cuddling up on laps.
As well as this, they’d be best suited to an owner who can be around most of the time, as they can get a little nervous.
No night vision goggles needed! Dogs’ eyes contain a special membrane, called the tapetum lucidum, which allows them to see in the dark.
These two vocal pups love a bark like most chihuahuas, so get used to them telling you exactly what they want whenever they want it. They have also been known to bark at other dogs when they get scared.
This is the wont of a chihuahua, many of whom have small-dog-syndrome and decide to be the boss of the house they live in. And this is why we love them.If you think you might be able to give these sweet babies their perfect home, you can contact the Snetterton Dogs Trust at 01953 498377 or check out their website here.
