A DOG was left devastated when his owner pretended to put him on a diet. Now, he has gone viral and melted hearts across the world.
The adorable video was posted by @tobythegentleman and is captioned: “His reaction made me sad.” It has been viewed more than 35 million times and has thousands of comments.
One viewer said: “You gotta give him more, he is so cute,” and another replied: “Give him the rest and extra now.”
And it seems many were in agreement at just how sad it was, especially the noise Toby makes at the end of the video.

Toby’s owner reassured his 1.3 million followers saying: “I gave him more food plus my food and the neighbour's food.”
It comes as an opportunity has arisen for 10 lucky people to be paid £20 an hour to look at pictures of dogs .
The day-long study ran by dog food company, ProDog Raw, tests whether pets can alleviate stress levels.
Each candidate will wear a heart rate monitor and look at pictures of dogs as they go about their day. The heart rate data will be collected and analysed by a doctor to identify any key findings.

INTERESTING FACT ABOUT YOUR PET: Pets are a major source of support and increase the ability to cope, which contributes to keeping cholesterol and blood pressure down.
Applicants should use social media, have access to a device where they can use the internet and ideally have a desk-based job where they won’t be doing manual work or activities that may increase their heart rate.
ProDog Raw will be picking 10 successful candidates by mid-April, conducting the study at the beginning of May.
