The terrified pet was saved by Paws2Rescue last Sunday after being cruelly abandoned by her owner. She was thrown into a river but managed to climb onto the base of the bridge.
The dog was spotted by a young boy who returned three days later and saw she was still there.
He lowered a bucket on a rope with pet food and called for help.
The fire brigade were needed to reach the dog due to the height of the bridge.

Paws2Rescue founder Alison Standbridge warned that people in Romania are abandoning their pets at an “alarming rate” amid the coronavirus crisis.

She said: “They used to visit restaurants with the guarantee that the owners would throw food their way at the end of the day or a few diners would feed them.

The charity’s rescuers are risking fines by going out to feed the strays as people are only allowed to leave home for a limited number of reasons.Ms Standbridge added: “Every day in Romania life on the streets for any dog is horrific, but in the current lockdown period it is becoming life threatening as the dogs are struggling to find food.

The charity’s other recent rescues include three puppies who were eating a dead sibling on a deserted industrial estate.
They also picked up an adorable white and brown dog and a tiny puppy who had been dumped on the streets.

If you have a hard time brushing your dog's teeth, squeeze some enzymatic doggie toothpaste onto a Nylabone or rope toy and let your pooch go to town on it.
