A TIKTOK video of a Golden Retriever showing off their love for fetching rocks underwater has become a viral hit in less than a week.

In a clip posted to the social media sharing site on August 13, viewers can watch a montage of the dog diving in several lakes and rivers. The footage follows the current TikTok trend of using a soundbite from the American comedy film Legally Blonde and has been seen by millions.

Once your dog has removed all of the fabric from the ball, you can stuff the scraps right back in!

The clip then cuts to the four-legged rock lover bobbing around and diving in several locations grabbing large stones with their mouth.

Since uploading, the cute canine has become a viral hit with other users, with more than 5.5 million people having seen the footage. It has gained more than 1.4 million likes.

Thousands of people quickly left their reactions in the comments section. One user Natasha Robichaud said: "Mam that's not a dog that is a very fluffy otter."

And to prove that this is not just a phase their Golden Retriever is currently going through, several other videos have been added to the account showing of the pet fishing for rocks.
