And in all honesty, we’re completely obsessed already.Metro.co.uk has landed a cheeky first look at the series, which will see mystery celebrities allow cameras into their fancy homes.
The cameras just happen to be attached to their beloved pet puppies, so we get a no holds barred look into the lives of a pampered pooch. In the clip, we’re introduced to an adorable black pug, and a regal looking Labrador, who are both working undercover for the production companies.
Filmed with lockdown in place, the dogs will know the ins and outs of the house for ultimate snooping abilities.
We’re talking through cupboards, what’s being hidden underneath the sofa, under the beds – everywhere through the eyes of the pup.
Throughout the show we’ll get clues to the identity of the dog owner, before the ultimate final reveal. On the new release, Sean Doyle, Deputy Head of Features and Formats at Channel 4, said: ‘I didn’t want lockdown to stifle creative conversations and Celebrity Snoop Dogs is a perfect example of a reactive and outside of the box commission.
‘We’ve come up a wonderfully ridiculous spin on filming in lockdown that only Channel 4 could get away with.
