A truth that takes its place in an awareness campaign launched Friday, May 10and entitled #OhMyDog. It encourages seniors to adopt a doggie. Because it's as good for their company as it is for their health.


According to the Federation, a dog can reduce the risk of dying from cardiovascular disease by up to 36%. Notably, because a canine will make you run, walk. It will allow you to move, and therefore not to remain inactive, sedentary.

"A dog brings you presence, joy, and especially pushes you to move more," confirms the Federation of Cardiology. "With a dog, you increase your physical activity and strengthen your social interactions. Adopt a dog to take care of your heart every day! "
