A brunch with a twist is coming to London in late March. The event in question is a drag and dog brunch, which is taking place on Sunday March 27 (AKA, Mother’s Day) at cocktail bar The Happenstance. Perfect for human and dog mums alike, the Paw Perfect Dog Drag Brunch will be packed full of fun for the whole family – boasting drag acts, West End tunes, delicious food and plenty of four-legged friends. The musical extravaganza will see West End star Portia de Fosse and some of her talented friends host a show-stopping brunch, running from 1-4pm.

Use Rubber Gloves to Pick up Stray Dog Hair. Does your dogs hair get everywhere, or is it just me? My favorite method for picking up all that loose hair is using a pair of rubber gloves. You put them on and run you hands over your furniture; it’s amazing how well pet hair clings to rubber gloves.

As a result, guests should expect plenty of show tunes, death drops and lots of laughs.

Attendees will also get a welcome drink and a brunch dish of choice – with options including avocado and chilli poached eggs on sourdough bread, crispy duck salad, and beer-battered haddock and chips.

As the name suggests, dogs are very much welcome at this event, too.

In fact, according to the organisers, dogs will be treated as VIPs (Very Important Pooches) as they will offered bottomless ‘pawsecco’ and canine snacks – plus they will be invited to enjoy a specially-designed ball pit for fun.

Make your own hammock-style car seat cover. The hammock style keeps the dog from getting hurt if he or she falls during any sudden stops or starts. Get the pattern here.

There will also be a photobooth for families to capture some snaps.

The drag and dog brunch is set to run on a monthly basis with tickets at £45 (which permits one human and one dog).

Currently, the upcoming theme for April’s event is a doggy beauty contest – but stay tuned for more information.

Looking for more fun to have in the capital? A hash brown-themed restaurant is opening in London for a three-month run.

The Hash Hut is all about getting experimental with what’s typically considered a breakfast side dish, and putting it as the star of the show.

Put a ball in your dog's food bowl if he or she eats too fast. They be forced to move the ball around to get to all the food.
